Directions Via Water:
From the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, travel 39.4 miles up the Nanticoke River and you will approach the Norfolk Southern Railroad Swing Bridge. Upon clearing the Railroad Bridge, the entrance to the Nanticoke River Marina is immediately to your right.
Note: The Railroad Bridge is open on signal from March 15 through November 15, except from 11:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., when 2 1/2 hours prior notification is needed.
At all times from November 16 through March 14, the draw will open on signal with 2 1/2 hours of prior notice by calling 1-717-541-2158 or 1-717-541-2140.
The Nanticoke River is well marked with a controlling depth of 12' MLW.
MLW is 8' within the Nanticoke River Marina.
Maximum height restriction on the Nanticoke is 50' at high tide.
